starklife OCV's music is some of the best there is, it's like listening to a great post rock band like "If these trees could talk", only with vocals. WITH GREAT VOCALS. With vocals and lyrics that make it sound even better. The new vocalist stays true to the old gritty sound and it sets them a part from anything else in similar genres. OCV is truly something unique, and much deserving of support.

about

Austrian ambient rockers Our Ceasing Voice have always thrived on change. At the heart of their new sound are vocals as distinctive as the music itself: dark and poetic, dramatic and brave. It's a soundtrack for late hours of long summer nights. Music for the times when every kiss goodbye seems too brief, and when farewells still bear the hope of sweet reunion.

Track Name: Gone
you forgot where it began
but I will show you how it ends
you forgot where it began
but trust me
I will show you how it ends

and once you know the end
you cannot just pretend
that what was gone was already gone
’cause this is it

you forgot where, how and when
but it’s like the fall of man
one could say that it began
with just one wrong you can’t amend

and once you know the end
you cannot just pretend
that what was gone was already gone
and this is it
and we can‘t take back
all the things we‘ve said
’cause what is done is done

you can’t know what courage is
unless you’ve felt discouraged too
I thought this whole thing through
and couldn’t find a way
so this is me
losing heart again

and once you know the end
we cannot just pretend
that what was gone was already gone
and this is it
this truly is it
and we can‘t take back
all the things we‘ve said
’cause what is done is done

and we can‘t, we won‘t take back
all the things we said
cause what is done and what is gone is gone
no, we can‘t, we won‘t take back
all the things we said
and just like that, just like that, you‘re gone
